Buddy loves to travel and explore new places. That’s why we’re sending him on a trip around the world. He’s going to need a bit of help though, which is where you come in. Buddy will need a place to stay and someone to show him around.

This is how it will work:

Starting today we will be accepting mailing addresses from anywhere in the world. Send them to info@monsterfactory.net by February 23rd. By sending us your address you will have a chance at being chosen as one of Buddy’s stops on his trip around the world.

On February 24th, we will choose an address to decide where Buddy’s first stop will be. The person who receives him will then show him around and take photos of him in their city. Once we receive the photos via email, we will send that person the next address to send him to. And then, as a thank you for accommodating Buddy, we’ll give you a $25 gift certificate to use on our online store.

When Buddy has visited 10 cities or towns, he will make his way back home to the Monster Factory, hopefully with lots of great experiences under his belt.

Please note that by entering your address, you acknowledge that you are responsible for:

-Emailing us 5-10 photos of Buddy in your city/town (try and use landmarks if possible). Feel free to take snap shots, but if you can, try and tell us a story with your photos. Also, tell us a little bit about your city, your culture, and where you decided to take Buddy. Feel free to send him along with little souvenirs, like stickers or postcards.
-The shipping cost to send him to his next destination. We estimate about $12-$15 for the shipping, depending on where he’s going next and we ask that you use a relatively fast service, nothing over a month.
-Most importantly, you are responsible for Buddy’s safe keeping :)

We will post pictures of Buddy’s travels online so that you can keep track of his progress around the world.

Things you should know about Buddy:

Buddy is a great traveler and has been known to wander for weeks on end before finally returning home for a rest. He is a sentimental monster who delights in collecting knick knacks that he finds along the way. He can often be found with a map in one hand and a brown paper bag with a sandwich (his food of preference) in the other.
Buddy is mildly narcoleptic (a condition that he refers to as "the drowsies"). He has the special ability to nap just about anywhere, but prefers cozy sock drawers or piles of clothes left in messy bedrooms. He is quite adept at making a home for himself wherever he lays his head.
